The latest update from the CDC: As of Dec. 12, 2009 influenza activity is still declining.
H1N1 vaccine is recommended for priority groups.
The NJ State mandate that children in day care 6 mos. to 59 mos. of age must receive seasonal flu vaccine by Dec. 31st has been temporarily suspended due to a shortage of vaccine.
Parents should continue to check in with their pediatricians and local health departments for availability of both H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines.
