Nutrition Counseling
Trying to Eat Healthier? Schedule some time with our staff Nutritionist, Natalie Vetrini, and learn how to eat healthier. She will counsel you in portion control, making healthy food choices and help plan menus.

Natalie has a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics and an M.S. in Community Nutrition with a focus on family/child nutrition and obesity. Both degrees are from Rutgers University.

Member Fees:

Member Activity Pass (MAP)
Non members may purchase a ten visit punch card for a $52 fee that includes access to Zumba Gold, 4-Ever Fit, General Conditioning, Senior Fitness and Wellness Wednesdays. It is a superb way for fitness-seekers, fitness novices, and/or seniors to get started on a path to healthier living.

Healthy Kids Day
A FREE day of fun-filled activities to promote healthy living for our kids and their families. The Madison Area YMCA focuses on nutrition, physical activity, safety, and fun! Two children, along with family members attend the event each year. There will be obstacle courses, games, healthy snacks, and visits from local organizations and vendors. We will also have a moon bounce, tattoos, face painting, and more... Stay tuned for the 2011 date!

America on the Move Week
America on the Move Week is a national movement that encourages everyone to take steps toward a healthier way of life. The Madison Area YMCA encourages our members and community to make small, simple changes to daily eating and activity choices. Reducing100 calories from your daily diet and walking an extra 2000 steps a day, you can start to build proven habits that will positively affect your weight and health. The addition of a Physical Therapy program will bring the Madison Area YMCA one step closer to a complete wellness center.
