With great pleasure, we  announce the selection and ratification by the Board of Directors of Diane Mann as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Madison Area YMCA effective June 1, 2010.

Diane Mann was selected after an exhaustive nationwide search which attracted a large field of qualified candidates to identify a worthy replacement for current President and CEO Barry Kroll who retired on May 31st.

Diane currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at the YMCA of the East Bay in Oakland, California, which reported $29 million in revenue in 2008-9 across its 10 separate facilities. In her role there, Diane has led philanthropic and fund-raising activities, business services and information technology, and supported strategic planning and operations management since 2007. Prior to coming on staff at East Bay, she served on the organization’s Board of Directors.

Diane served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Operations at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland and earlier in her career, Diane spent 13 years at Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest non-profit health plan. Diane has also served on a variety of non-profit and professional association boards during her career.

Diane is looking forward to meeting our members and continuing to build on the quality programs and services the Y provides to our communities.
